SPECIALS EXTRA TICKETS
read the below information
carefully before purchasing
IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS PAGE MUST ONLY BE USED FOR EXISTING STEAM SANTA SPECIALS CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE ALREADY BOOKED TICKETS VIA THE RAILWAY'S OFFICIAL TICKETSOURCE ACCOUNT TO ADD ADDITIONAL PASSENGERS. DO NOT USE THIS TO MAKE ENTIRELY NEW BOOKINGS AS THEY WILL NOT BE VALID.
On this page customers for our 2021 Steam Santa Specials can add additional passengers to their existing bookings. It is not for those looking to make entirely new bookings for this event - any such purchases will NOT be valid and NO REFUND will be given.
THIS PAGE SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOLLOWING
APPROVAL BY A MARKETING AND COMMERCIAL TEAM MEMBER.
This page is for existing 2021 Steam Santa Specials customers only and not for making entirely new bookings for this event - any such purchases will NOT be valid and NO REFUND will be given.
Each booking can only add additional passengers via the following method once - this is to ensure that we have sufficient presents for the number of children attending, prevent overcrowding, and reduce the risk of fraud.
The deadline to make such bookings will be the Wednesday of the week in which you are booked to travel to guarantee the above.
The general Terms and Conditions of our 2021 Steam Santa Specials (see below) will apply to all additional customers.
Each total booking (including the passengers included in the original TicketSource booking) must not exceed 8 adults/children aged 3 or over. Extra babies/toddlers aged 0 - 2 may be included above this on the strict condition that they can travel safely on the lap of a responsible adult.
After reading the below carefully, use the payment portal contained on this page to add additional persons to your booking.
YOU WILL NEED
Your six-letter TicketSource booking reference (provided in your purchase email and on your ticket).
The surname of the person who booked the original tickets.
Information about the ages of the additional children attending.
After reading the below carefully, use the payment portal contained on this page to add additional persons to your booking. If you will be purchasing tickets from both payment categories then we strongly advise that you do this on a computer rather than a mobile device for ease of use.
STEP 1: HOW TO PURCHASE
Use the below icon to access our website's payment portal.
STEP 2: ADDING ADDITIONAL PASSENGERS
Add the additional passengers (each payment type can be used several times) based upon the following age-based costs, using the 'quantity' option for the number required from each category:
Additional passengers aged 3 and over: £12.50
Additional passengers aged under 3: £5.00
You must ensure that the number of additional persons added plus those already included in your original booking through TicketSource are in accordance with the capacity limits set out above.
STEP 3: LINKING YOUR PURCHASE TO YOUR EXISTING BOOKING - KEY
In the 'Leave us a message (optional)' box, write the following information.
Your six-letter TicketSource booking reference.
The surname of the original purchaser.
The date of travel.
The number of additional adults.
The number of additional children and ages.
1ABCD2 - JONES - 04/12/21. 2 additional adults, 1 additional child aged 4, 1 additional child aged 2.
Ensure that all additional passengers are accounted for using this method as it can only be used once for the reasons outlined in the Important Information section.
STEP 3.5: ADDING EXTRA PASSENGERS FROM BOTH OPTIONS
To add additional passengers from both categories, select the number of passengers required from the first category to your basket, press 'add to cart', and then repeat for the second.
Please be aware that if you are doing this from a mobile device you will need to return to the online shop page at https://www.bhrailway.co.uk/product-page/christmas-tickets after adding the first option to your cart (cookies will store the information).
If you are doing this on a computer, once you have added the first option to your cart, click on the left-hand side of your screen to return to the online shop page, then select the second dropdown option, select the required number of tickets, then add to cart - the information from Step 3 will handily remain attached to your booking.
We know that the method is neither perfect nor mobile-friendly. However, our volunteer team have found this the only way possible when using our website's software and thank you for your understanding.
STEP 4: CHECKING OUT
Add to Cart and checkout. There's no need to contact us as our Commercial Team volunteers will be monitoring all additional payments and updating our records accordingly.
Your transaction record should contain the retailer name: BlaenavonRailway. Please be aware that the retailer location will state Luxembourg. Don't worry, this is just where our website development software provider Wix registers its European transactions paid for through its payment portal software - there are no additional charges or exchange fees.
