LOCOMOTIVE UPDATE: ‘Jessie’ returns to service!

We’re delighted to announce that ‘Jessie’ passed her annual boiler test this afternoon!

To celebrate, she is now booked to haul our remaining trains in September, allowing ‘Rosyth No.1’ to enjoy a well-earned break.

Instantly recognisable in her gleaming black livery with bumblebee stripes, ‘Jessie’ has been a popular attraction amongst visitors and volunteers alike since arriving at our railway in early 2019.

We currently (17th September) have good ticket availability for the rest of September – perfect if you’d like to see her yourself!
