THE RAILWAY SHOP REOPENING MONDAY 12TH APRIL 2021
The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway Society is delighted to announce that The Railway Shop will reopen from Monday 12th April 2021! Please be aware that capacity limits will be in place, and in line with Welsh Government legislation face-coverings will be required for all customers aged 11 and over unless medically exempt.
Situated on Broad Street in the heritage town centre and staffed by our friendly volunteers, it is well stocked with an extensive range of model railway supplies, railway books (both new and used) and children’s toys. All profits made go towards supporting the restoration and operation of the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway/Blaenavon’s Heritage Railway.
Current opening hours:
Monday - Friday: 10:30 - 17:00
Saturday: 10:30 - 16:00
Sunday: Closed
As we are manned by volunteers, staffing problems occasionally arise. Therefore, please contact us in advance if you are travelling any distance for your visit.
