We must stress that this event will operate as PRE BOOKINGS ONLY with no tickets available at the event. You must present your online ticket on the night which will give you entry to the event.
All trains will depart from our Furnace Sidings Station (Postcode: NP4 9SF), tickets will be valid for one round trip at your booked departure time. All children aged under 3 travel free. Our Ghost Train services are generally suitable for those aged 5 and over. Those wanting a less scary experience are advised to book onto the earlier departures.
We are delighted to confirm that to cater for the huge demand we have added an extra date, this years event will operate over FOUR DAYS.
Each trip will last for approximately 15-20 minutes with a brief stop on the journey and a wait at Garn-Yr Erw Halt (The Whistle Inn and Park).
Wheelchair users - One wheelchair can be carried aboard each service - please book your ticket then contact us in advance with your booking reference number.
Refreshments will be available at Furnace Sidings in the Fireman's Shovel Tearoom.
Services depart and end at our Furnace Sidings station (directions).

All tickets must be purchased directly through our TicketSource account.
Please do not purchase tickets from any individual who offer you tickets for sale. All genuine tickets record names and contact details of the purchaser, and these will be checked on arrival at the event.
Our system will detect any bogus tickets that will result in you losing any money you paid for them. Once purchased tickets are not transferable to a third party. No concessions or discounts are available for this event.
Please be aware that due to limited volunteer resources, we regret that we do not offer a telephone booking service for this event.
Children aged under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The event is only open to those who have a valid ticket to travel.
All tickets are valid for ONE round trip from our Furnace Sidings station. You may break your journey at Whistle Inn Halt and return by a later train, but please ensure that you arrive in good time for the last train back to Furnace Sidings.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the correct date and time is selected at the time of booking.
We have a very limited capacity, and to ensure that everyone has the fairest chance of obtaining tickets at their
desired time, we cannot offer exchanges. Please rebook and contact us requesting the cancellation and refund (minus the booking fee) of your incorrect tickets.
Refunds are only available if you take out ticket protection with Ticketsource at the time of booking if you cancel or fail to turn up.
Facilities
Refreshments: Refreshments will be available from the Fireman's Shovel Cafe at our Furnace Sidings Station (cash and card payments).
Souvenirs: and gifts are available from our station shop. (Open on running days only) (cash and card payments)
Toilets: Our main toilets (including accessible facilities) are located at the northern end of platform one at Furnace Sidings station. Additional portable toilets will be situated around the site.
Accessibility: We are able to accommodate one wheelchair user per train with boarding taking place via ramps deployed by the Guard. Accessible toilet facilities are available at Furnace Sidings station.
