Halloween ghost train
We operate this under a first come first served basis and aim to have the capacity for everyone however this can be very difficult with high demand for tickets.
We must stress that this event will operate as PRE BOOKINGS ONLY with no tickets available at the event.
You must present your emailed digital ticket on the night which will be exchanged for a wristband, this will allow you access to the event.
The event will take place on the 25th, 26th, 30th & 31st October with the first departure at 16:00.
Each trip will last for approximately 15-20 minutes with a brief stop on the journey and a wait at Garn-Yr Erw Halt (The Whistle Inn and Park)
Please arrive 20 minutes before your booked train departure time.

All trains will depart from our Furnace Sidings Station (Postcode: NP4 9SF), tickets will be valid for one round trip at your booked departure time ONLY.
All children aged under 3 travel free.
Young people under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18) at all times.
Due to the nature of this event and the large numbers expected dogs are not allowed to attend.
Our Ghost Train services are generally suitable for those aged 5 and over. Those wanting a less scary experience are advised to book onto the earlier departures.
Wheelchair users - A small number of wheelchair users can be carried aboard each service - please book your ticket then contact us in advance with your booking reference number.

All tickets must be purchased directly from this website.
Do not purchase tickets from any individual who offer you tickets for sale. All genuine tickets record names and contact details of the purchaser, and these will be checked on arrival at the event.
Our system will detect any bogus tickets that will result in you losing any money you paid for them.
Once purchased tickets are not transferable to a third party.
No concessions or discounts are available for this event.
Please be aware that due to limited volunteer resources, we regret that we do not offer a telephone booking service for this event.​

The event is only open to those who have a valid ticket to travel.

All tickets are valid for ONE round trip from our Furnace Sidings station. You may break your journey at Whistle Inn Halt and return by a later train, but please ensure that you arrive in good time for the last train back to Furnace Sidings.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the correct date and time is selected at the time of booking.
We have limited capacity, and to ensure that everyone has the fairest chance of obtaining tickets at their
desired time, we cannot offer exchanges.
No refunds if you cancel or fail to turn up.

Facilities
Refreshments: Our tearoom will not be open during this event. Snacks, cans etc available from the station shop.(card payments only). Coffee, tea, pizza, and burgers will be available from on site catering vans.

Souvenirs: and gifts are available from our station shop. (Open on running days only) (cash and card payments)
​
Toilets: Our main toilets (including accessible facilities) are located at the northern end of platform one at Furnace Sidings station. Additional portable toilets will be situated around the site.
​
Accessibility: We are able to accommodate a small number of wheelchair users per train with boarding taking place via ramps deployed by the Guard. Accessible toilet facilities are available at Furnace Sidings station.
​
Carers: Registered carers are allowed to travel free on production of valid identification. One carer place per full fare paying passenger.
