How do I book a Heritage Experience?

Chose an available date from the list provided, decide whether you would prefer a morning or afternoon slot, and them simply check-out! We'll get an order confirmation almost instantly, and one of our friendly volunteers will contact you via telephone or email to discuss your booking within five working days.

Is there an age limit for the Heritage Experience?

Due to the nature of the Heritage Experience, we must impose a minimum age of 18 for participants. Participants should also be in good general health. Please contact us at  for further information.

How will my purchase be delivered?

Firstly, a big THANK YOU from all our volunteers! By purchasing from our online store, you will be helping to keep our railway open for future generations to enjoy. Your order will be available for collection at Eric's Emporium at Furnace Sidings station within 5 – 7 working days, and you will receive a confirmation email when it is ready to collect. Please check our opening hours before traveling to the railway. Alternatively, we can deliver via Royal Mail at a cost of £3.95 per order. We aim to dispatch all within 5 working days.

Can I purchase and renew my membership online?
