Step on-board a restored steam train on Blaenavon's Heritage Railway for a terrific family journey, complete with appearances by our wonderful prehistoric mini-dinosaurs.

Arrive at Furnace Sidings station (NP4 9SF) for the start of your journey back thousands of years.
Collect a free Dinosaur storybook, a gingerbread biscuit, activity sheet and crayon for every child to give them plenty to do during the journey.

As our steam train leaves the station, prepare for some surprising fellow passengers.
The dinosaurs are back to life and are coming to your carriage!
During the trip, you'll see a number of different dinosaurs. Can you name them all?

Journeys take 50 minutes approximately. Seating is either in exclusive, bookable film-style compartments or flexibly arranged around tables for fours.

Appearances are not designed to be scary, but do get close, so please assess your own child's circumstances.

Offering exclusivity, private 1950s compartments have one large picture window and two long facing seats in a separate booth by a corridor.
Traditional Class, up to Eight People (any age) 

Flexible Seats:  Adult tickets £17.50  - Children £12.50
These seats are arranged in tables of two and four with a number of arrangements to choose from on-board.
Child (aged 6 months to 11) 
Infants six months and younger are free
